Monday October 19th Thursday October 22nd 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM $25 Over two sessions, we'll explore: The basic tools and materials used in oil painting How to comfortably handle and control oil paint How to simplify what you see into clear values How light and shadow create the illusion of three-dimensional form How to build a painting from simple shapes into a convincing finished study Day 1: Brush Control Value Assessment Gradient Practice Cast & Form Shadows Day 2: Image transfers Painting Project Reflections & Highlights   All participants will leave the workshops with materials to take home and continue practicing.
